Hi!
I've recently graduated high school, and am looking to relocate somewhere along the coast after I've finished my first semester in community college in Charlotte, NC. I've decided that since I'm only 18, I should be able to go around and live in interesting places for awhile. So, I opened Google Maps and basically pointed at places near the coast until I found somewhere that looked cozy, and if there's a cozier looking place than Knotts Island, then I'd be hard-pressed to find it. So, basically, I'm wondering what there is in Knotts Island. I see there's a Peach Festival, which sounds absolutely wonderful, but I was wondering what kind of communities there are here.
Now, I'm not one of those young adults that look to party non-stop; I'm quite the contrary. I'm looking for a nice room to rent in January, a place to go to school, and (hopefully) a place to work. In conclusion, do you have any tips? I'd be really grateful for advice and anything else you feel I should know before making a move toward your end of the coast.
Much Thanks! -Sam
