Well, it's that time again. That's right....time for the International Space Station and Space Shuttle Endeavour to fly over Knotts Island. They did it Thursday night and liked it so much they're going to do it again. The spectacular flyover will begin as it appears over the southwest horizon at 5:29 p.m. They will be highest in the sky, about 79 degrees above the northwest horizon, at 5:32 p.m., and will disappear low in the northeast sky at 5:35 p.m. The Charles Kuralt observation platform is an excellent place to view this once-in-a-lifetime event and it will be occuring early enough that everybody won't be too drunk to see it. As you watch them keep in mind what they are doing. They're remodeling the space station, i.e. adding a bathroom and generally jazzing up the place. Translation: They're doing a lot of cussing, breaking stuff, losing tools and getting pissed off a lot...just like we do, except they're traveling at 17,500 mph and don't have beer.
