Hello all, My name is Ronald Knotts and I live in Northeast, Ohio. I came across this location on the INTERNET and thought that it was cool to have an actual Island named the same as my last name. I am 45 yo and my two kids are both grown. I am getting pretty tired of the snow up here in the winter time, so I am thinking about possibly moving south to my Island. I know from reading your messages that you don't really care for outsiders invading your little piece of paradise, but how can you go wrong with someone named Knotts? Oh by the way I have an older brother who lives in Maryland, but don't hold that against me. I was wondering if there are any restaurant/bars available for sale, or if there is room for one more. I am considering leaving my present unfulfilling job to start my own business preferably as a bar & grill owner. I work part time now as a bartender in a local upscale yacht club, so I know a little bit about running a bar. I am not looking to bring an invasion to your privacy, just looking to find somewhere easy going and laid back that I can fit in to and earn a modest living till I retire. So if any of you would be so kind as to let me know if I can fit in down there I would appreciate it. By the way I live on Lake Erie about 30 miles East of Cleveland. Thanks! Ron Knotts.

As a matter of fact, there is a restaurant for sale right next to the market. Maybe if one of use were motivated, we could get a picture and some info for you.

You're not fooling us. You're going to tell everybody you own the island and steal all our women.

"I work part time now as a bartender in a local upscale yacht club" Wow...as luck would have it, we also have an upscale yacht club. Bay Villa Marina, Restaurant and Lounge. You should feel right at home there. The owner's always looking for experienced bartenders. Can you open a beer? ;D

Uh yes I can open a beer, that's not a problem and I even have my own beer opener and wine key! I promise not to tell anyone else about Your Island and Exactly how many women are we talking about? I am single/divorced you know. Are there any homes for sale and can the Island support another bar & grill type establishment? Is there a sports following crowd there or do people pretty much keep to themselves. Well thanks for responding to my message and hope to hear from you and others again. Bye!

Uh yes I can open a beer, that's not a problem and I even have my own beer opener and wine key! Great. When can you start?
I promise not to tell anyone else about Your Island and Exactly how many women are we talking about? Actually, there's several women down here. Beware though, some of them are crazy.
I am single/divorced you know. Sorry to hear that. What happened, did she take too long to change the oil in your truck? Speaking of which, what kind of 4-wheel drive truck do you have? How high is it? What color is it? What color are the doors?
Are there any homes for sale.Yeah, there's a few. Some are brand new. We have a few custom builders on the island. There's a community over at Carova Beach too if you don't mind traveling to the island via boat. Lots of people do it. I'd do it if I could afford it. You can drive around but it's a long drive.
and can the Island support another bar & grill type establishment? Probobly, but the owner of our upscale yacht club hates competition. He closes his restaurant in the winter though.
Is there a sports following crowd there or do people pretty much keep to themselves. Yeah, most people down here are football and Nascar fans. One guy likes soccer but he's weird.
Well thanks for responding to my message and hope to hear from you and others again. Bye!
Glad to be of help.
