I am selling my riding mower. The motor runs great. It has a new battery bought this year, new blades bought one month ago. Hydrostatic drive. REAR END MAKES A GRINDING NOISE. Mower still goes in forward and reverse, but the rear axle grinds. All else works good. Always stored indoors. See pictures here. smilebox.com/playEmail/4e4463324e544d334f413d3d0d0a&sb=1 Brett

Do you happen to know who manufactures the rear axle? My buddy has some Cub Cadet parts. He may have a "bolt-in" axle.

The rear end is a Hydro-Gear. There are 2 numbers on it 618-0667 and 311-0710. I also have the owners manual that shows a break down of the rear end. Could be an easy fix. I just dont like working on things like that. And I have been wanting a zero turn mower for a while and now I got one.

I think I've seen your place. If so, I bet a "zero-turn" mower is the hot setup.

Does somebody make a "zero fall over" riding mower? I'm still too chicken to mow the steep bank near my bulkhead.

They used to call those goats, short for herds of grazing animals.

Kurt Bush stole it after a long night of drinking at Pearls.

Yup. That's what they call a bump.
