After several long decades of waiting, the bridge appears to be complete. The lights are flashing yellow which I think means you don't have to stop now. Sadly, there's some bad news. They have installed several large pipes under the causeway so the turtles can walk to the other side without getting squashed. The pipe contractor, "Big Joe's Pipes, Dependable Used Cars and Payday Loans" got the contract to install them. Joe's obviously never installed pipes before, so when you drive across the ruts and tear your tie rods out, just remember, it's his first time. I've found that you'll do minimal damage to your suspension if you cross them at about 1/2 mph.
